When gold is traded in ounces, how are gold pips calculated in forex?

Many trading platforms offer the option of trading gold in ounces rather than lots. Taking the entry price of $1400 as an example and taking a profit value of $1401.33 as another example, it is possible to earn 20 ounces* 133 pips = 2660 pips because 133 pips align with the entry price of $1400 to $1401.33.
