Who doesn't want to feel like a genius The aptly named Genius collections from luxe outerwear brand Moncler will undoubtedly smarten up your fall wardrobe. The company tapped eight of the fashion industry's most prolific and exceptional designers - including, among others, Valentino's Pierpaolo Piccioli, Simone Rocha, and menswear maestro Craig Green - to each create a capsule collection that reflects their distinct aesthetic. For Rocha that meant amping up the femininity on Moncler's signature utilitarian designs by incorporating floral prints, ruffles, and all manner of embellishments.

Ruffini's strategy appears to be working. And besides expanding its customer base, one of Moncler Genius's brightest ideas might be its influence on the designers themselves, whether that means helping them execute new ideas, develop highly advanced product, or simply see the inner workings of a massively successful luxury brand. "What I find really impressive about Moncler," Green says, "is that they're a brand that has huge commercial success and heritage, but they are still taking risks.

Looking at these pieces before, it had been tempting to extrapolate from them a shift from the urban - technicality of early Alyx to a couture - ish inspiration seeded by his move from Milan to Paris last year in order to take on the Givenchy gig - but Williams reckoned this was not in his mental foreground while shaping this collection. It is also worth recording that of the 11 Moncler Mondo Genius launch films this season, Williams's was easily among the most entertaining. The film stars "a friend of mine called Teezo Moncler Outlet Touchdown from Texas and he's going to do a performance for everybody," offered Williams as an advance trail.
