It is crucial since quests are what drive me to RuneScape Gold improve my abilities. I've observed that there is an increase in abilities that I need and the height at which they must be raised: A quest cape requires the following skills: 76 defense constitution, mining, and woodcutting agility and strength, 78 attack and strength, 80 magic and 74 smithing and thieving and fire-making.
None of these requirements are boostable. In the most extreme cases they can take nearly twice as long as those that are 70 or lower. They are also sequels to quests that I've been able to complete easily with 70-ish statistics. Runescape seems to be forcing players to grind more in certain areas, which I find absurd.
I would rather see skills, such as Dungeoneering, which requires skill (and perhaps the formation of a team, that I believe is a fascinating and powerful idea) and also to see those principles used in other areas. Agility would be much more fun and vastly more enjoyable to play if it were an art and skill that you could become good at getting fast rates of xp, instead of the simple, mindless click marathon that it is.
While it wouldn't change the gameplay any easier, it would make it more time-consuming. Like you said, the gameplay is very easy. It takes way too much time. If you try to make it more difficult and move faster, you will have a better game.
Jagex has announced the release of Buy OSRS Fire Cape EoC to (hopefully!) fix the grind. Personally, I am okay with EoC or no EoC. I just want them nerf spellcasters, swifts and goliaths. Anyone who is GF is an GF.
