Doctor of Psychology

Doctor of Psychology is a subfield of psychology that focuses on the assessment and treatment of complex clinical disorders throughout the lifespan.

Cairnmillar Students in Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) programs are trained to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders using evidence-based techniques and to work with diverse populations. After completion of this program, Graduates of Psy.D. programs can go on to work as licensed psychologists in a variety of settings, including private practice, mental health clinics, hospitals, schools, and government agencies.
