Just as Travis Dermott made his return to the lineup, the Toronto Maple Leafs may have lost another defenseman to injury and it's unclear for how long.

Jake Muzzin left Tuesday's 4-3 overtime lo s to the Washington Capitals in the first period. Heading into the second, the team announced that Minkah Fitzpatrick Jerseys he would not return for the remainder of the contest.

Going to play the puck in the corner, the 30-year-old blueliner was hit by Tom Wilson, who was racing to retake po se sion. Head coach Mike Babcock offered an update on Muzzin's status postgame.
