How to configure Chrome to run applets?

The sole distinction between an Applet and a Java application is that an Applet cannot be immediately launched on a standalone system. To function, it needs a web browser. It requires a Java-enabled browser to launch Applet. An Applet can be run on browsers thanks to the built-in Java plugin. Therefore, configure Chrome to run applets that have Java enabled. In Windows, press Alt+X or click the "Tools" icon in the upper right corner of the window. Then choose "Internet Options" from the menu. Click on "Custom level" under the "Security" tab next. Scroll down in the pop-up window, look for "Scripting of Java applet," confirm that it is enabled, and click OK.
