I have noticed this some time ago when many people believed that the slayerdart isn't affected by magic bonuses' (which isn't true) But it has been spreaded for RuneScape Gold so long that it is fake, yet i noticed that a lot of people are still using it! One guy who is quite strong (and already has 91 magic), tried slayer dart at barrows for about an hour and gained 400 kxp. However, he could have utilized firewave (which has similar strength, but is more experienced) to gain 1.25m.
My friend is going to be working on barrows in a few weeks. I have advised him often NOT to use slayerdart, but earth wave (cannot utilize firewave as of yet) is a better choice, since it gives you more experience and does the same job. However, he was there when i was there, and he wanted me check his outfit. SLAYER DART!
He once again explains why he doesn't use it and also buys an earth battlestaff. The reason he chose to wear the slayerdart was due to the fact that he saw a lot of YouTubers in tutorials using slayerdart, therefore, a lot of the YouTube users also wear the slayerdart. This makes me more angry because they are bad examples.
This leads us to the next question whether you are using a fire blast/waveattacks or a Slayerdart? Or don't you use magic at all and was this a complete waiste of your time? Don't move this to polls. This is more of a discussion about the reasons why people use it than that you use. Now, explain to me the reason why people continue to use it when blood runes cost less than death runes.
